It makes sense to everyone, except maybe to a few delusional South Carolina fans.
Syracuse is simply better. They're a tougher out and have been for a while now. South Carolina is as close as we've got to a guaranteed "W" as there is for us.
Syracuse, on the other hand, is competitive and well coached.
