VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE BAND...

During the singing of the South Carolina Alma Mater, the Clemson Band started playing and drowning out the Carolina fans singing.
I’m all for rivalries, but as Dabo said, “This is Clemson. You win with class, you lose with class”!
I realize that Carolina has done the same thing to us, but for us to drop to their level shows great disrespect for all Clemson fans. Quite frankly, I hope someone in the administration burns a new one in the Band Director and requires a formal apology.
Please Tiger band, show more class next time (and for the rest of this year).

I saw them do something similar @ Wake Forest once in 2010. I went and apologized to the Wake Band Director myself and he said that the Tiger Band director had already apologized for the mistake and he believed that it was an honest mistake. I'm hoping that's the case this time as well.

about those type of things. If true, I assure you that he has already apologized.
From my vantage point in the upper desk(508), I felt the Carolina Band and PA announcer disrepected the Tiger Band's playing of the Clemson alma mater after the game.

I was not at the game, so I can not state an opinion for or against. But, as a former member of Tiger Band, I can assure you that (if this did happen) it was an honest mistake. Band Directors are generally classy people who respect each other, and I know our director or assistants would never disrespect another band purposely.
