Upper deck question

Apologies if this has been discussed. I haven't seen it.
Recently I got back to Clemson for the first time for the first time in years. Saw the App State and Notre Dame games. Both were sold out, but there were hundreds of empty seats in the top corners of the South upper decks.
Who owns those tickets?

Those are mostly student tickets.

That is a good question. Those seats are empty at the start of each game even when the game is an announced sellout
and all student tickets have been claimed.

Think those are seats allotted to the visitors. I sat near that end for the "puntrooskie" game & it was full of FSU fans. When we played GA, it was all GA fans, etc.

Student tickets are general admission with certain designated blocks

One of this is the top corner. Students are just cramming into better sections rather than to seat in those god awful upper deck corners. If youve ever sat there you realize how far from the action it seems. Seriously, maybe the worst seats in all off sports.
