I'm not sure what the official cause was but he had bacterial meningitis and might have had a stroke.

when we found her after her stroke 3 years ago. This hurts my heart to read, and really takes me back to that day  I did not think she would survive it and am sure if it had been any longer that she would not have.

He was an imposing figure to some people as he was a big man who could yell louder than most Tiger fans. Yet, PWR was a kind and caring person. And, you will never find a more loyal Tiger fan. He enjoyed all the sports but especially Tiger football and Tiger baseball.
What a great seat he has now, watching from Heaven.
PWR333 will be missed.

we can celebrate his life....They don't make bigger Clemson fans than Phillip. Can still hear him shouting a greeting over the crowd noise everytime I'd see him outside Gate 13. Phil will always live "where the Blue Ridge yawns it's greatness."

I'm gonna miss Phillip a whole lot and it's so sad to see him pass on at the young age that he was,he deserved many many more years to live and pull for his Tigers.He loved Clemson sports but Man oh man first and foremost did he love Baseball and attending games.I'll always remember the time he and I went to the 2003 Auburn Baseball Regional in Auburn,Ala.RIP Phillip,every time I'm at a Clemson Football or Baseball game I'll remember the good times we spent together.
