They may have a couple ACC losses by that point, but they'll be playing much better by then (in their biggest pride game of the year).

It will be interesting to see how they adjust and perform going forward.

Their defense wasn't awful last night , excepting the corners who looked overmatched by some average VT WRs and a decent TE .
Their DLine is very athletic and pretty stout up the middle .
That OL was terrible , no doubt . Also , their play calling wasn't on par with what Jimbo had . They'll need a good week of practice and a lot of work with the blocking schemes .

How can a team get better when opposing Dlines are going to destroy whatever QB and oline they happen to be playing until then?

FSU will have enough losses by the time we play them, so no need to throw shade on a crappy team that was stupid to get rid of Fisher and hire someone that is unproven at this level. Their program is a dumpster fire at the point. Bless their hearts.
