He’s from Dorchester SC too, and we didn’t offer him. I’m guessing he’ll be extra motivated this week.

I never said it would give em any chance in hell of keeping the game competitive; just that it’s simply an interesting story line. I recall an SC state linebacker named Darius Leonard who came in with chip on his shoulder in 2016 and left with 19 tackles. His team got a beat down but he showed out. The same thing could happen with this guy.

I doubt a WR gets 19 tackles regardless of his height

Lavel Davis Jr. might be an issue because he does catch it pretty well. And, is not just a basketball player playing WR. In his video, he gets physical. At 6'7 and decent; but not over the top speed he could for sure present problems.

I think Coach V will have a nice plan for Mr. Davis. But, again, you can't teach height! That is what it is and we might struggle if we don't as someone suggested: bracket him.

If the 6'7" WR was really decent I'm sure Dabo would have been all over him. There's a real good reason he's at UVA and not Clemson...TALENT (or lack there of). UVA should be more worried about our several 6'4" future NFL WR's as they're way better than this kid.
