Maybe that former student didn't benefit from the cheating and maybe that's the reason for the frustration.

They will continue to deny that there was a deliberate and calculated pattern of academic fraud created for the sole purpose of keeping student athletes eligible.

This, but they will be wrong. It was a calculated pattern of fraud done for the sole purpose of keeping people who otherwise couldn't make it a way to skate by, and justifying it because they won games. Pathetic!

Read the girl's blog. Obviously, from her writing, she is highly intelligent (I'm pretty sure she is in the minority among former UNCheat athletes), and she makes great points. Sad that this was part and parcel of the UNCheat program for so long, but at least some of their alumni see it for what it was, a disgusting way of cheating. IMO, it was far worse than buying cars, because it goes right to the crux of what the overall university should be about, and that is education. Well, I guess if one wants to know a great way to cheat, it was that.
