So Louisville fired Petrino, but who's next...

Larry Fedora at UNCheat?

Paul Johnson at GT?

I know there are others around the country but I am primarily talking about in-conference.

What say ye ?!?!?!

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I think only those two are in question.

Everyone else should be very safe. I think Narduzzi was on the hot seat earlier in the season, but he isn't getting fired now that Pitt is likely winning the division. I don't think Paul Johnson is getting fired either, but he may "retire."

I think GT lets paul have another year. probably Fedora if anyone there cared about football.

agree.

Nov 14, 2018, 11:36 AM

I don't there is anybody who really cares if Fedora stays or goes. And Pawl's win streak probably saved his job for another year.

He didn't even know they had a football team until he walked by the stadium on his way to the Dean Dome one evening.

When UNC was semi relevant under Butch they still didn't care about the sport.

The UNC teams from the 80s had a different fan base behind them.

UNC needs to dump Fedora

Nov 14, 2018, 11:41 AM

but not sure they can really afford to with the buyout he and his agent secured for him last go round, which is in the same neighborhood as Petrino's was (14 mill).
I think UNC is still paying for lawyers fees for NCAA defenses to keep the bball team out of trouble...priorities.

I think buyouts and continuity are going to be big factors for lots of schools going forward

Not sure UNCheat can afford Fedora's buyout...

Nov 14, 2018, 11:55 AM [ in reply to UNC needs to dump Fedora ]

that slush fund was depleted paying-off the NCAA investigators.

Paul Johnson is just playing out the string until........

Nov 14, 2018, 1:04 PM

he can retire. And he does just enough to keep the Tech faithful satisfied. Their expectations are set pretty low realistically-speaking from what my Tech friends here in Atlanta tell me. Not enough of a real commitment to excellence financially or fan support wise.
