So explain what happened, why wasn't he developed at Georgia? Discipline or injury problems aren't mentioned.

Thompson had a list of off-the-field issues a mile long...he dropped out at one point, apparently hit rehab, and came back. At one point he was reportedly also suicidal.

There's other rumors out there I won't go into, but if I've heard them, I'm quite sure the NFL and their legion of PI's were more than all over it.

WHOLE lotta red flags, in short.

He may stick as a OFA because he does have talent, but even that route I don't know if a team will risk a roster spot on him.
