UGA is celebrating the 40-yr MNC anniversary on ATL radio...

On 680 The Fan, they are advertising a celebratory documentary podcast series of their 1980 MNC season.

The commercials are on all the time with clips of Larry Munson calling the big plays from Buck Belue and Herschel Walker.

Their radio shows even have segments where they wistfully relive the big moments.

Bless their hearts.

I actually liked listening to Larry. He had to be the most pessimistic homer I've ever listened to. I remember listening to the Georgia vs Vanderbilt game in 2006 which Vandy won. I was driving through north Georgia and had to pull over to keep from laughing. I thought Larry was a threat to harm himself.
