UGA has three 5* RBs

Who combined for 41 rushing yards against LSU. Is it the coaching or the players that are overrated with the pups?

When your receivers are pedestrian and your quarterback can't hit open guys, defenses can stack the box and control the run game.

Yes; but their QB was so good that even Justin Fields could not start there - right?

Their qb is a guaranteed choke in all big games.

Don't forget that they also have the best OL in all of college football.

too bad only 1 of them can carry the rock at a time, whereas 3 5* wr's make things much harder to defend

UGA, doing less with now since 1980. It’s a tradition.

I understand the injuries that decimated UGA's receiving corp. But the main disappointment for their season has to be how their O-line did not live up expectations. Andrew Thomas is the one legit guy and will anchor somebody's O-line for years in the NFL.
I wonder what Bulldog would have to say about this.

Yeah, a bunch of their 5-star OL that picked UGA over Clemson just haven't panned out as expected. Trey Hill is starting at C...he's done...OK. Cade Mays was supposed to be a tackle; he's at RG for them and has similarly done...OK. Ben Cleveland is a backup guard, Jamaree Salyer is a backup at right tackle.
They may still develop in time, but they haven't lived up their incredibly high billings yet.

Just shows, you can't just line up and run over people. You have to be able to spread the field and be a threat passing the ball at 30-40% of the time.
Otherwise, just load the box to stop the run and bring pressure on passing plays.

Their OL is far from the super unit that it was supposed to

be when they signed all of those 5* star. I've defended Fromm numerous times because i thought he was very good in 2017 and 2018, but he definitely regressed this year, and his WR corp was just flat out bad for most of the season. Lawrence Cager was far, far more important than he should have been in that offense. In every game Cager was injured the UGA passing attack fell flat on it's face. That should not happen at a program that has basically led the nation in recruiting over the last 3 years.

Coaching and antiquated scheme. The offense UGA runs is as dated as the triple option.
