They are all freaking out on twitter saying that Salyer denied the rumors. He clearly said “9 times out of 10 if I don’t tweet it, or confirm it then it’s false”. Don’t know about y’all but I’m pretty sure he never denied it. Either way we will find out in a couple of days

Who knows at this point? Georgia fans are trying to say he has denied those rumors when he clearly hasn’t. Steve Wiltfong said Salyer was considering it siting that he had gotten info from someone close to the situation. Also Cory Fravel said the same thing. Dawg fans just looking for some hope

What could they possibly use to recruit against Georgia? The graduation rate barely above 50% for football players, the dozen or so football players arrested every year or the fact that other than 2017 they've been barely relevant for 15 years?

In fact, Salyer said any conjecture out there is just that.
"I never confirmed it with anyone,” Salyer said. “It was just a thought going through my head that I guess someone felt the need to leak.”

Salyer is going to UGA. To have some minor doubt before such a big decision is not unusual. If there were any chance this guy was coming to Clemson he would have made a better effort to visit in the fall.
