Sorry, admittedly I’m a fan of anything space related.
Still, I’ve seen A LOT of “stupid” & “ugly” uniforms. You don’t like them, okay. You don’t care if they’re honoring their university tradition with a throwback, fine. But they aren’t stupid or ugly, they’re actually subtle and clean in relation to CFB extremists recently.

BINGO hit the nail on the head here! Really hate when people are so scared and want everything to stay the same. It's ok to step out of the box and have flashy uniforms sometimes normally the players love it too!

I think they're pretty cool and new. I like the flashy nice uniforms occasionally keeps the sport up to date. Nothing wrong with being unique, not everything has to be bland and out dated all the time.

As gimmicky uniforms go, these are pretty cool. Of course, a program with tradition should never do something like this.
But if you’re UCF and you’re in space country, why not have some fun with it?

Florida Technological University/University of Central Florida is in Orlando. Cape Canaveral is a close neighbor. Their original mascot was the Citronaut, which was kind of an orange-man astronaut. What they have done with this uniform seems to fit in with their history.

Should put mouse ears on the helmets. They could blend the NASA theme with a Disney theme. Might also work a picture of Shaky in somewhere.
