Two teams from the same conference or two loss teams in PO?

Nov 12, 2017, 5:24 PM

I'm expecting to see one or more two loss teams rather than two teams from the same conference.

I totally agree. The only possible scenario would be bama getting in if uga wins out and squeak by bama in conference championship.

But it’s still not a likely scenario. The press is already pumping tosu back up in case they beat wisky. I see conference champions preference again. You’ll see the press jump back on usc bandwagon... and as much as I would like to think the committee can’t be swayed it will be.

I think Bama would be in if they lose to Auburn in a close one.... because well, you know.

I've seen them both play.

It won't be close. Bama beat Miss' tate by wearing their defense down and scoring the go head points in the final minute. Au won't be managed by that.

Both - Auburn wins SEC and Bama in at 4***

The precedent was set last year, when OhSt was in playoff,

even though PA St won the B10. I think the most likely one loss non-conference champ to get in, would be if Bama lost in their CCG, for their first loss. I doubt a one loss Miami or Wisky would make it. Bama will be #1 this week, and won't drop below #4 if they lose a close one to UGA, though I don't see that happening. But we know the PAC will have a 2 loss champ, likely the B10 also, and possibly the B12 and SEC!
