Which would make him no different than any talking head on NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, etc.. They are all ratings-driven infotainment.

My sister was 30 years a news anchor for NBC, won 5 emmies. I know quite a bit about the business, I have sat through dozens of live broadcasts at her station and goneout for drinks with the news crew.. There is a big difference between the role that a main stream network affiliate anchor performs and Tucker's schtick.
But in truth, over the passing decades, she got to write less and less of her material, was constantly censored by her producers when years prior she had not, and eventually left because sincliair bought out her station and at which point would have had her stories handed to her to read. She was nolonger a journalist.
Now she is a producer at NPR, making far less, but fighting the good fight.

Congratulations to your sister. Sure it's different, but all News outlets editorialize, whether openly like the 24/7 networks do much of the time (Tucker), or indirectly through their reporting. All networks, including NBC, are delivering a message and hammering on a narrative non-stop. The idea that mainstream network X has no agenda and is slavishly toiling to report the nothing but the facts while FOX News is lying and twisting everything to fit their agenda is laughable. All networks are equally driving an agenda, though they may go about it differently.
