Trying to ID a BBQ joint around Clemson

Jul 19, 2015, 8:16 PM

I went to this BBQ spot somewhere in the Clemson area (Central, Pendleton, etc.) in the year 2000. It was a little secluded and it had a large parking lot that you entered from higher ground and went downward a little into the lot. The building itself was also rather large with all wood interior. The serving line wrapped around to the left with lots of horizontal tables in the middle. The place could still be open for all I know. I can almost remember the name itself.

They have locations in Clemson and Anderson. The old Just More location is their event center.

Pompous pig?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Pretty sure that's just more BBQ.

Wooden picnic-like tables inside. I think they even had a stage inside for their bluegrass nights

It doesn't matter. You want the Smokin' Pig.***

There's something in these hills.

I'll second that opinion! Smokin' Pig > Just More BBQ***

"Gamecocks aren’t ready to take college football by storm just yet. They’re not even ready to compete in their own state – Clemson will still own the territory. Gamecocks fans would be smart to keep their heads buried until that time. Avoid talking trash to a much better Clemson program.” -Dustin Tackett

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
