This is a smart move, I'll give Trump credit for it.

"White House Airlifts Medical Supplies From China in Coronavirus Fight Officials have teamed up with medical supply companies to speed the arrival of masks, gloves, gowns and other goods."
"WASHINGTON — A commercial aircraft carrying 80 tons of gloves, masks, gowns and other medical supplies from Shanghai touched down in New York on Sunday, the first of 22 scheduled flights that White House officials say will funnel much-needed goods to the United States by early April as it battles the world’s largest coronavirus outbreak."

Trump is many things and he may come out ok on the virus deal in spite of himself...but never in a million years would I use the word ‘leader’ in the same sentence. And I don’t say that in a partisan way...I really don’t think he would meet the spirit of the definition in anyone’s playbook.

I disagree. He has been more concerned about himself and how this affects him (no surprise there).
He has contributed to misinformation and has been slow to listen to his experts.
Finally, he has been divisive in his response to the state's needs from him.
A leader inspires confidence and clarity - I'm not seeing it at all.

He’s doing a good job now. His rhetoric is still just as bad as ever,

but he has finally accepted reality (for the most part) and is taking it seriously. His actions are much better now then when this first started off.
However he never was, and never will be a leader. The idea of that is just laughable. This is why you see people like me and the OP and others going out of the way to point out when he’s making rational decisions. It’s out of the norm, unusual for him. So it’s worth calling out because it’s so rare. I will give him credit when credit is due. Up until this point in his presidency, there just hasn’t been much to give him credit for.
Even though he’s doing a good job now, he’s far from a leader.

Good leaders don't blame others when something goes wrong. Good leaders don't try to divide the population and attack one side of the political spectrum. Good leaders don't write off potential crises as a hoax or a ploy against them because Fox News said it was. Good leaders don't insinuate governors have to kiss his ### to get aid, or that states that he didn't win wouldn't get aid as quickly. Good leaders don't abandon a U.S. territory when it's demolished by a hurricane. Good leaders don't attack the free press when they ask tough questions. Good leaders don't waste a record amount of tax dollars playing golf. Good leaders take responsibility for problems, they're honest, and they don't claim they're the best there ever was at this job. Good leaders don't embrace authoritarianism.
I used to think George W. Bush defined a bad leader. Trump makes him look like Churchill.

Trump has the highest disapproval rates in presidential history, and the majority still disapproves of him. Even during what's happening now.
That 60 percent number is false. He hit 49 percent recently. That's the highest he's ever had.

administration and half of Europe. He spent the his entire term in office being investigated and finally impeached. No one on the left gave him a fair shake. Don't act like that's not true. The MSM has pounded on him like a rented mule since the day he was nominated and you guys never considered him being or becoming a good president.
I don't give a rat's #### what you think. He is a good leader. Look at his empire and tell me he can't handle business. Look at his accomplishment. Obama asked how he would renegotiate trade deals. Trump made Obama look like a special needs kid when he landed new deals with Mexico, Canada, SOKO, Japan and forced Mexico to defend its southern border from invaders from central america.
Trump is the best president in my lifetime and I was alive when JFK was POTUS.

The man's campaign was spied upon by the Obama administration and half of Europe.
That doesn't make him a good leader.
He spent the his entire term in office being investigated and finally impeached.
Because he's caught up in so many scandals. He's likely awaiting a prosecution in NY when he leaves office.
No one on the left gave him a fair shake. Don't act like that's not true.
Yeah, I can agree with that, but it was more than the left who opposed him. Most of America and our political leadership recognizes he's unfit for office.
The MSM has pounded on him like a rented mule since the day he was nominated and you guys never considered him being or becoming a good president.
He's made it a point to attack the free press first, worse than any president in history, which shows is blatant misunderstanding of the Constitution (you know he doesn't know how the Constitution works, right?)

Yes, you care what I think. No, he's not a good leader. His "empire" is fraught with bankruptcies and failures (who bankrupts a casino?!) and his daddy gave him the head start to be where he is.
And as for that last line? Wow. I'm going to pull that out in bold again.
"Trump made Obama look like a special needs kid when he landed new deals with Mexico, Canada, SOKO, Japan and forced Mexico to defend its southern border from invaders from central america."
Really? Anyone with special needs relatives want to weigh in on this?
Trump is the best president in my lifetime and I was alive when JFK was POTUS.
No, he's not, and it may be time to revisit history class. JFK and Reagan were leaps and bounds ahead of him. I would say he might have Nixon beat, but that's about it.

His campaign was spied upon? Ok....? Not sure how that’s relevant, and our government spies on lots of people. Not sure why that’s a big deal...
He was investigated and impeached because he has no clue what he’s allowed to do/not do as president, and constantly toed that line.
No one on the left has given him a fair shake. While that’s probably true, he hasn’t given them much to convince them to think otherwise.
Owning a successful business does not make you a good leader, especially of a country. Putting aside the fact that we don’t know how successful his businesses really are, and that he was given a lot of help from his father, a leader is someone who is able to unite people, set a direction and plan, and bring a group of people together to achieve that plan. He is the opposite of that, he is actively divisive, attacking, and does not have a plan. He acts on impulse and has no overall strategy of how to achieve any goals.
As for the deals with other countries, yes he’s negotiated new deals, but for the most part they’re not very different than before, not much is going to change because of them.
I will say getting Mexico to stop the flow of immigrants from other countries was a great move, one I agree with and that was executed well.

Uh...maybe?
I dunno. If I was a doctor I'd be about as squeamish about accepting Chinese stuff right now as I'd be about taking a syringe from some random dude in Times Square and jamming it into my arm.
Are we sure they're not playing dirty pool here?
