New house. Sort of makes sense bc he's a low key guy and that house, well. Just wondering if there's any truth to that? Either way he's earned every bit of what he has and should enjoy the fruits of those efforts.

So this is only a rumor, but someone attributed Dabo as stating that the house was built with the concept that the house would always be the Head Football coach's house (for future coaches). This does sound like something Dabo would do.
The normal reaction to the statement is a inference that the University would have to own it to facilitate that, but I imagine that there are other ways to accomplish his vision without the University owning it (at least owning it right now).
It would be good if some could validate Dabo's statement.

I could see Dabo making an arrangement with the school along the lines of "when I'm gone, use this house to help hire a new coach that can keep the success going, just give me royalties" sort of thing.

It's on the county's tax website. The house is owned by jointly by Dabo and Kathleen.
And if you're curious, the taxes this year are $4,219.75.
