1st:
v. Clemson -7.5
v. UGA -8.5
v. aOSU -8.5
Then Trevor M goes on to say how the only team that can compete with Bama which has the most complete team is Notre Dame! Lost some respect for him on that. They are definitely good, but to say they are more complete than Clemson, UGA, or aOSU is absurd. ND is closer to those four than they are to Bama.
Anybody else catch that?

Total Offense - Clemson
Passing Offense - Clemson
Rushing Offense- Clemson
Total Defense - Clemson
Rushing Defense - Clemson
Passing Defense - Clemson
Results vs. common opponent - Clemson.
Those are the facts. Matich’s opinion is based on something other than facts.

The talking heads are all over the place from week to week. One week it's the cantankerous leprechauns, another week it's the Bucknuts, another it's the Uggas. The best response to all of this? Win and win convincingly.

I think a lot of these guys are thinking " Freshman QB and inexperienced backups . "
Trevor and Chase lack the snaps as starters but Clemson nation knows how special we are at that position . Let them keep guessing wrong .
It will all be revealed when the bulls go to market .

Having watched all teams mentioned in post I do not think ND scores 13 against our Defense. tOSU 17 and the Mutts 17. The question is does our offense score more than that against their defenses, I think yes.

TAMU scored 26 and Cuse scored 23 on us in DV, but 3 top 5 teams can't score more than 17? Take off the glasses, lay off the koolaid, and take it easy on the liquor.

In our 3 games against Bama in the CFP they have gotten the following:
-A TD following a DW4 INT in our own territory in 2015
-A TD following a surprise onside kick in 2015
-A TD on a KO return in 2015
-A FG following a fumble in our own territory in 2016
-A TD following a long INT return deep into our territory in 2017
-A pick 6 TD in 2017
That's part of the reason why i think it's unreasonable to expect us to hold a playoff caliber team under 17 points. We might do it, like OSU a few years ago, but most likely we won't.

Those are Vegas lines. He just added that the Irish would do better v. Bama an everyone else.

but they aren't as good as any of those 3 teams and they also have a lower ceiling than those teams.

and he wasn't starting yet when they played Vandy. I still dont think ND is quite as good as Clemson, OSU, or UGA not do I think they can really threaten Bama, but they are quite a bit better now than they were in their first 3 games.
