Tre Mason Heisman pose - bet he feels stupid now

Jan 7, 2014, 7:35 AM

Mason with the Heisman pose when he scored with 1:19 left.

That's what he gets !

ACC

And. the spiking of the football plus the pose was not deeme

Jan 7, 2014, 7:43 AM

d worthy of an unsportsmanlike penalty. Personally, I only watched 3 ACC games from start to finish. Duke,Clemson, and FSU.The ACC got the extremely short end of the stick in all of them. And still won two out of three.

Wish the Tigers

had a running back such as Mason. Just what we need.

I guess the Texas A & M win was the signature win for the SEC this bowl season. Against mighty Duke!

You forgot Cotton Bowl

Gotta hand it to Mizzou, they (mostly) handled their business this year. I still think they had a cakewalk through their conference schedule (second only to SCar's cakewalk) but only "pulled a ####" once.

Should have been a penalty

Jan 7, 2014, 8:26 AM [ in reply to And. the spiking of the football plus the pose was not deeme ]

spiking the football is an automatic. Plus the no-call horsecollar. Auburn should have been kicking from the 20. They missed 30 yards of obvious penalties on in that last 1:30.

And Gus was calling plays while on the field. If AAC refs would have been there he would have gotten a few sideline flags.

Re: Should have been a penalty

FSU prob would have made them enforce it on the PAT. The Auburn Kicker had missed one earlier.

Yep...refs missed 3 straight calls - 2AU, 1 FSU...

Jan 7, 2014, 8:49 AM [ in reply to Should have been a penalty ]

Shoulda called unsportsmanlike on the spike, missed a blantant block in the back at the point of attack on the kickoff and missed the horsecollar tackle.

Why would he feel stupid? Dude ran for 195 yards and did everything he could to win. I'm pumped the Noles won, but I do like that Auburn team. Mason is an incredible running back and Malzahn's system is incredible. Would love to see us able to run something like that once Watson is in place (and hoping Chad's still around)

yeah one thing I think Gus and the Chad are good at is doing what they are good at! Clemson was obviously better at passing this year and that's what they did. hopefully Dye Wayne G, brooks and Davidson can start producing. would love for Clemson to look like AU next year with lots of run and play action! it all starts with a nasty O-line though so we shall see.

yea the "nasty o-line" part is what has me worried most haha. I think we'll definitely have the backs to do it, and once Watson comes into his own (prob in 2015), we'll have the QB too. But we really, really, REALLY need to see some big leaps by the offensive line before we're able to move it like that.

I have no problem throwing the ball a lot, but I would love to see some of this stuff mixed in too.

Because he thought he was showing up the Heisman winner...

Jan 7, 2014, 8:39 AM [ in reply to Re: Tre Mason Heisman pose - bet he feels stupid now ]

but the Heisman winner brought his team back in one minute and won it.

Meh, I have no problem with it. College football is about emotion. I love watching players go out there with a lot of passion.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Considering Auburn admission standards . .

Jan 7, 2014, 8:32 AM

he feels stupid 365 days a year.

Karma.

Jan 7, 2014, 8:39 AM

Auburn tugged on her skirt one too many times with that stunt.

Jan 7, 2014, 8:39 AM

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

since when are college players allowed to spike the ball?

Jan 7, 2014, 9:09 AM

the pose didn't bother me... wonder if Winston saw it?

but the refs should have flagged him for the spike
