Going to a school that offered a lot of others

Is a lot like being a date for a girl that asked 50 guys before you. Yeah maybe you'll end up happy but you'll still think about being the 51st person on the list. Tennessee offered 440 players for the class of 2019 alone, sounds like a desperate heave to me but there's nothing special about being offered and playing for Tennessee at that point in my opinion.

I see nothing wrong with that number of offers for Tennessee. My gut says Butch didn't leave the pipeline full when he left and Tennessee was at it's best when it recruited nationally. I would be surprised if they do not become more selective as time goes by (assuming they show at least some progress on the field).

So yes, a Clemson offer does mean more as we have read. I think the high offers of +400 says Butch left the place in shambles

in Dabo's first 3-4 years. Offer often and early. As the brand built, so did the ability to be selective.
As a coach, I need players to sign. There's a finite period to get that done. As someone dating, time is on your side to get it right.
I have no problem with the approach and think its smart in terms of building relationships with coaches and schools for long term recruiting success.

Sorry you disagree but you also have bad information. As the brand built so did the amount of players coming to Clemson that we were able to meet and offer as Clemson coaches don't like to offer people they're unsure of personally.
