Poor FSU spending all that money on postage and recruiting trips.

All offers are not "committable" offers, many are times a kid is told that he has an offer contingent on whatever, that he cannot commit and expect for his commitment to be accepted. He may be told that he has a committable offer if none of 6 better at his position don't commit, or if he gets his grades up, or if he loses or gains weight, or if his performance on the field improves greatly, or if he lites it up at the camp, or...

There should never be "non committable" offers. It is bad

for the student athlete, and bad for the school.
We have a 5 star LB who signed with us, and he did not have an offer until another 5 star LB we thought was heading to Clemson stayed on the west coast and decided to go to Oregon.
As soon we knew that, we offered Trenton Simpson, the #1 LB per Rivals, and 11th overall rated player any position by Rivals.
Dabo respects the recruits and their families too much to dangle a non committable offer that may never be committable. When Clemson offers a player, it is always a committable offer.
That is how you build trust, and show the recruit and his family the character we have on our coaching staff, and the University leadership.

How Clemson handles its business. Clemson's only offers are those that will be accepted.
My advice would be to find another sandbox to play in. This is out of your league...far too ethical over here!

Typical SEC and LSU excuses.... We know that those schools are always telling the kids only what they want to hear...

As the years progress and if we stay on the same level we are now i can see us giving out even less scholarships, around 50-75 per cycle. Our brand speaks for itself, not nuch recruiting we need to do and its been said many times by the recruiting analysts that Clemson usually gets what Clemson wants

Conclusion #1 : FSU and the Coots are doing it all wrong .
Conclusion #2 : A large portion of offers from schools in the upper tier of the SEC are just fall backs if the 4 or 5 star kids go elsewhere .

Thank you for the research. It’s shows Dabo and his staff can really evaluate talent and character. To finish #2 in final recruitment rankings with so few offers is an amazing stat.
