Trahan at -6 and Doc and JByrd at -4. Also, Kevin Chappell tied a PGA Tour record with 9 consecutive birdies. He shot 59.

Has the "Cut Line" for this season changed???

It use to be Top 70 and ties . . . Or something close to that . . . at the Greenbrier, the Cut Line was set at -4 . . . the Top 48 w/ ties

I don't remember the field being that small for the weekend before . . . More $$$ for fewer golfers if the purse remains the same.

They were players who made the cut, but due to numbers still in the field, they didn't play the fourth round.

New cut line rule went in effect starting with hreenbriar! Google it to long to cut and paste

Yep. A few of the changes I remember reading about was the cut line being lowered to 65 and ties, removal of the MDF, and opposite field events being lowered from 132 to 120 participants.
