I mean, yes, we are an ag school in the South who plays great football and baseball, but that's not our conference. I personally wouldn't mind playing in the SEC and having a free OOC game to play someone from somewhere other than the SEC or ACC, but despite ESPN continually talking about Clemson and thr Criminoles belonging in the SEC, and being SEC caliber, and planting news articles claiming we're going to the SEC and it's only a matter of time, we are still an ACC school.
Just yesterday someone at the pet park where I live in Greenville, NC said her sister was touring colleges and dropped Clemson and FSU from her list because she wanted to go to an SEC school and originally thought we were both in the SEC. It kind of made me mad, but then I thought about it, and if that's her sister's logic, I wouldn't want her at Clemson anyway.
