got in the 2014 CFP because they blew out whoever they played in the B1G Championship instead of the fact that the Big 12 got left out because the Big 12 didn't have a championship game.
Yes; the unranked VT team y'all lost to not only became bowl eligible with an FCS win but also picked up another win over Wake Forest by way of the rogue WF radio guy giving VT Wake's game plain/plays.
Once again, congrats on having it both ways (2014/2016) and sneaking into the back door in 2014.
However this ain't 2014.

I'm getting at while they won it in 2014 they did not deserve to be there and for the same reason they got in in 2014 (TCU and Baylor did not play in a championship game) OSU got in by this year. Hence, having it both ways. And, they are not going to win another "sleazy" title this year.

Different scenarios actually.
2014: TCU was 11-1, Ohio State was 12-1 ... each had roughly equal resumes, could have gone either way, and would not have been a grave injustice.
2016: Ohio State 11-1, Penn State 11-2 (including a 49-10 loss)
In each scenario, Ohio State had the better record and equal to or fewer losses. The historical precedent in college football is that for relatively equal schedules, the team with the better record (fewer losses) gets in.

Sleazy huh? It's pretty hard to take you seriously when you are incapable of respecting any other team. Ohio is one of he winningest teams of all time. If you can't respect that, then there is no use in debating with you.
I do agree though, they won't win another sleazy title. It'll be a hard faught and earned one just like the other 8 they have.......
