Excuses, excuses, excuses, excuses. To hear SEC fans before you play them, you would think they are so much better that nothing could possibly make it where the others have a chance. Then after you play them, it is either, you ran up the score (South Carolina on November 24th), your players were saying racial things and got our players stressed, or you were more rested than Bama, you didn't get banged up during the season along the way. Excuse me, but Bama did not have one close game until the Georgia game, not one. How were they tired and banged up. They had four weeks after the Georgia game to rest. How come nobody ever sees these as excuses before the game when they are all picking Bama to win easily? I'll tell you why, they didn't need an excuse before the game. That score 44-16 is a prime score for the tried and true SEC excuse of "we just didn't want to be there and we couldn't get fired up". LOL, can't use that one in the National Championship game.
Oh and one of my very favorites: Clemson didn't have a tough semifinal game and we had to play Oklahoma. Clemson got to prepare for Bama the whole time. Hello!!, Notre Dame gave us a close game than Bama did. We had more points at halftime vs Bama than Notre Dame gave up to us in the entire Cotton Bowl.
Miller played for South Carolina in 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991. He was 0-4 against Clemson during his playing days. What are his excuses for all of those games? I can't wait to hear them. He sounds like a fool.

had to even play their starters in the 4th quarter all year. That was the reason Tua lost the Heisman, he missed out on all of those 4th quarter stats. They were all talking about how Bama could rest everyone in the 4th quarter. Never even had to play in the 4th vs LSU 29-0 or Auburn 52-21. Maybe they were tired of running up and down the field on Ole Miss 62-7.
