With Cannon Smith and Milan Richard gone and Galloway likely still suspended, who starts next year?

Williams or does a Freshman like Lay step in?

I think the coaches would probably prefer to keep a blocking TE for our scheme since our wideouts are so good, If williams leaves, we better hope Lay can be a good blocker.

Williams may go to the Marines. JC Chalk is the only TE with Experience. Lay and Allen are the 2 signees. Big concern for sure especially if Williams joins the Corp.

I heard somewhere that part of Williams' decision is based on a medical procedure on his knees in the offseason.

I am guessing he does not want to be limited in his career by one more year of football.

If he gets a good report from doctors, then he may be more likely to come back.

If Williams leaves then TE is definitely the biggest question mark on the Clemson team even if the suspension is dropped.
