In spite of 6-7 and tons of turmoil, this staff is doing something right. The recruiting has to at least give you a ray of hope, right?
In 2009, we could score from anywhere at any time. Our weakness was a defense struggling to master Steele's complex system. If we had some defense, we may very well have been in the BCS.
In 2010, we lost some NFL players and struggled to move the ball. But we had a defense that gave us a chance to win every game. With some offense, we may have won 9 or 10 and played in a much better bowl.
In 2011, we lose a couple good defenders but should have some talented and experienced guys familiar with the system. We should be able to hold our own on defense. Now, if we can hang on to Morris and ATTACK opposing teams and score points...
We may just have something here. Agreed?

I live near one of the main roads to get in and out of CU and it's still pretty bad esp in certain shaded areas. I pray they can all get in and out of their own towns in SC and in and out of Clemson. Safety is of the utmost importance right now.

The problem has been an inability of the coaches to get the players to play up to and beyond their potential.

I am so glad to see such great LB prospects, as well as the others, having an interest in Clemson again. We ae on the verge of something very special, if we can hold what we have and add a couple of more key folks, and I believe we will.

I think this is going to be a HUGE weekend as far as swaying kids in Clemson's favor. I believe these kids will buy into what is going on in Clemson and see that we are one big family up here. It's going to be awesome to have this class send their letters in Feb! I'm just hoping everyone sticks to their commitment in joining what will be one of the best Clemson classes ever!
