Tigers in Boston and Tigers That Have Traveled to Boston...

May 16, 2018, 8:51 PM

Planning on going to the game at Chestnut Hill. Any recommendations on where to stay or where local Tigers gather in the Boston area?

Any recommendations would be welcomed.

Go Tigers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is so much to do. just do your research. but i would definitely stay in boston not chestnut hill. been several times. stayed in different spots every time. it is expensive but if you do some work you can make it affordable.

I recommend staying in Boston and taking the T to the game.

Stay in the Back Bay neighborhood and experience all that Boston has to offer. That area is right in the middle of the action in Boston, with nice hotels, great restaurants, historical sites, etc. Getting around will be easy whether you walk or take the T.

Chestnut Hill has some hotels, but it doesn't really allow you to experience Boston.

The unofficial "Clemson bar" in Boston is Central Wharf, 160 Milk St, Boston, MA.

You are going to have a great time!

I don’t have a a recommendation on where to stay, but if you’re a beer fan, go visit the original Sam Adams Brewery. A must visit.

To each their own. Boston Lager is one of my favorite beers.

But that’s okay, you don’t have to like it for me to.

Been twice here’s some good stuff to remember

1) don’t rent a car. Find hotel in Boston next to T station and ride T everywhere

2) on game day don’t take the B line to Boston College. Take the D line to Chestnut Hill and exit off to Hammond Street. On Hammond take a right on Stone Ave or Resevoir Ave and it will take you right to the stadium. It’s a little further walk but way less crowded, especially on the way back after the game. I printed off a google map and put in my pocket in case my phone died.
