The sad part was when after 3 years on that island,Harvard took his name off the donor list and he lost his mid court seats!

I had a neighbor up here in the Blue Ridge mountains who was a Harvard grad, class of 1927. He passed away a few years ago in his late 90's. His father was one of the engineers who built the Panama Canal. As a child, the notorious Bandit Pancho Villa was a close friend of the family and spent a lot of time in his home. This old character came from a wealthy family and the only job he ever had was a chauffer for FDR for a short time. One of the most interesting guys that I ever met. I used to visit him and his wife often to hear their tales. What a pair!
