Seems like we should be able to beat USC without him but has me a little worried.

but its USCjr. and they are in the 100s in total offense so i'm not sweating it.

it does suck that Chad Smith is also injured. but Davis does fine and he is where he needs to be most the time.

I'd rather see more Skalski and less Davis. I like Skalsi's tenacity, something Davis just doesn't have.

USuCk is more likely to throw than run. While Tre & Chad will certainly be missed, it’s just all the more reason for the likes of Skalski, Davis & Shaq Smith to live up to our team’s “next man up” philosophy. Shaq was a 5-Star LB out of IMG for a reason and he had a fumble recovery last weekend so he’s hungry. Him and Skalski both kill people on special teams when they’re out there. We are lacking a little depth at middle but the return of Kendall and Dorian playing in his usual form, the flat should be covered. Don’t forget that Dexter is back also so running up the middle with him and Huggy sharing snaps beside Christian isn’t a wise move anyway.

We aren't missing much if we play Skalski. He's a bigger Ben Boulware. He's very good on the blitz as well, which is something Davis is not. Davis is a "gap" filler and has adequate speed---and that's pushing it. Skalski is much more disruptive and moves well in coverage.

If you watched him fly around the field against Citadel, that should calm your nerves--he was everywhere.
