Those smiles from Trevor when he missed a throw were kinda

Sep 30, 2018, 12:14 AM

Creepy. He knows he can make them but the crowd and everyone watching is what makes him miss. Tough situation bc I can’t imagine being 19 yrs old and the entire Clemson fan base relying on me. I would $hit my pants and then #### all over them on the way to the locker room. Trevor has tough shoes to fill. We’re basically expecting him to fill Deshaun’s. Not every freshman is DW.

Creepy?

I thought they were from a young man keeping a positive attitude and dealing with internal disappointment

Yeah, agree. Relax OP.

I took them much more as a 'dang it! wish I could have that one back :) ' kind of smile than anything remotely "creepy."

He’s learning the position in real time before our eyes. He will continue to sharpen his reads and build chemistry with his receivers, and he knows that’s a smile-worthy prospect. This season will be awesome to watch.

To be great you have to be a little bit of a sociopath. If you let mistakes affect you emotionally, you will never be on the level of a DW4. Ice water in veins is a good thing.

QB's can't win. Show upset and you're not a good leader. Show confidence and it's creepy? What's the proper response? Asking for a friend who's a QB. ??

I think it means he knew exactly what he did wrong.

Unlike others who may not realize until go back and watch tape if and only if a coach points it out. He’s a quick study and I think he realized immediately what he did. Sometimes self-critique is the harshest. I think it’s learning in the job and he’ll be better for it. He has 9 more games for his leadership/qb lab before facing bama.
