As fans we had much rather have seen a dominant 49-14 type of win. But a close conference win on the road that you have to fight for is way more valuable going forward in the season. These are the kind of games that build confidence for a team.

Sure Louisville is struggling so far but they are not a bad team. They could just as easily be 3-0 right now.

This win will pay more dividends than a blowout. I'll take it any day AND be happy about it.

You make a good point. I'm sure there's plenty of film to go over with the team highlighting mistakes and what not. A good learning experience and confidence booster.
