Putting Marr in was the worst decision of the whole year,and it cost us the game.Monte has been an excellent regular season coach,but is so disappointing in the regionals.

Easy to reflect now but would you ever think our best hitter, in 4 different situations , would SO and hit into an easy DP to end an inning? The averages say no, but it happened.

Beer has good HR numbers but I bet against him more times than not in clutch situation.

Yep that double Marr gave up ended up being the difference maker... Clark should have gone in instead of Marr no doubt. Clark pitch the way he did tonight and Spiers did and we have a tie game going to the 10th and we just need one swing of the bat but instead we had to play catch up ball which is never good for us

Agree that Marr should not be in a regional game. Not to pile on but don't understand pinch-hitting Meredith for Hall when there is an automatic out on deck who is 1 for his last 25. Could have also pinch-run Meredith when Byrd got on base.

Marr should be forbidden to touch a baseball for the next 9 months. Dude ERA has ballooned up to 5 something. Couldn’t understand why he was brought in first out of the pin. A real head scratcher.

That call by the ump was peculiar. Paul did not lean in to that pitch in any way, so I thought it was a no-brainer-give him 1st base. I was as happy as any of us at the time-but it was a peculiar call.
