Eh, I don't think we can really tell too much about the defense from that game. They did what they needed to do, but that was such a wacky, one-dimensional Auburn offense that I'd hesitate to draw any conclusions from it.

They played against 3 different QB's, and they done a good job considering!!!

Agree. I don't think they will see a front better than that one. Auburn has several pros on that unit.

Our offense didn't look as sharp as we would have liked.
Maybe Auburn's defense is just that good, and they took away our sharpness.
Perhaps we'll see another defense with that much talent and ability again this season, but we won't see one with more.

The offensive game has been the same the last 3 years with Dabo. If I washould a betting man, I would always take the other team and points at the beginning of the season. I don't understand why Dabo plays so conservative at the point were 1 play can beat them. What is it that we need to hide? Nothing, everyone knows what they have and what they run on Offense. They ran 2 plays the entire game. Option run and pass to Williams, that's it. Hunter and Scott had 2 catches and Ray Ray had that 1 jet sweep which he always goes down with the first hit. They ran the uptempo Offense only 1 drive which was the last TD drive. I really don't understand why keep it so close that the other team is only 1 play away from winning the game. Could potentially knock you out of the playoffs and cause DW to not receive the Heisman. Of course the Heisman is not the most important goal but he deserves a chance. We had this same discuss last year. Almost cost them the ND and a couple other games last year. Why?
