Kitt told he can talk to any D1 school but usuck

Wow! Now he is going to be mad.

Why would he be mad?

Why is going to be mad?***

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Why?

Dec 9, 2014, 3:17 PM

That's standard operating procedure.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Actually, that is a bit more lenient. Most schools say no

Dec 9, 2014, 3:24 PM

to any rival AND the rest of the conference.

Clemson probably should have limited it to no ACC, USuC or UGA.

Dec 9, 2014, 3:27 PM

You don't have to say the account because you have to sit 2 years. It says it in the letter if u read it.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I read that. But they could have straight out denied ACC

Dec 9, 2014, 3:33 PM

transfers.

Dec 9, 2014, 3:19 PM

could be important.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

"Because at the end of the game, everyone knew that they weren’t that much better than us or better than us at all."

Re: Who is he?

Dec 9, 2014, 3:30 PM

Well, I wasn't being too serious. I'm just saying he may think it is wrong to be told he can't go to SC if he wants to. I read somewhere where some SC guys were recruiting him.

Re: Kitt told he can talk to any D1 school but usuck

Dec 9, 2014, 3:20 PM

Why would he feel the need to take a pic and post it? A lot of kids love to make drama. You got out, so go!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This is completely ridiculous.

Dec 9, 2014, 3:25 PM

What gives Clemson any right to dictate what school he goes to? (I know this isn't just a Clemson thing...applies to any transfer situation.)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Because he signed a contract with Clemson University...

Dec 9, 2014, 3:27 PM

Ever heard of "Signing Day"?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Which they can terminate at any time for any reason...

Dec 9, 2014, 3:29 PM

While if he wants to change it, it's only if Clemson says so.

If the paper he signed says they can do that, then it's his fault. But it's still wrong.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He doesn't have to agree to it. Of course, Clemson doesn't

Dec 9, 2014, 3:31 PM

have to release him from his scholarship either.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

same way in your hometown. they can't transfer to CU.*******

2024 white level member flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I agree, like I said, his fault.

Dec 9, 2014, 3:49 PM

Doesn't change the fact that, in my opinion, it's messed up.

Then again, I think the whole recruiting/signing/scholarship process stinketh.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It's part of the agreement the player signs. I think it is appropriate since the school is , you know , paying for the player's entire tuition.

he was privy to things that would put his "company" at a disadvantage.

Although in fairness, i'm not sure how any school/conference can have such a blanket policy. Seems like they could control that he doesn't go to a school that has been scheduled within time of his remaining eligibility but not just a single school or conference school. Afterall, we aren't scheduled to play UNC again until about the time his grandkids get to college.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

We know liberals but this is the real world. Life is tough. Work hard and play hard has been my mentality. Liberals seem to love to complain about the bull shiet. Who the hell would allow their own football recruit that they invested time, money, and care in, to transfer to their arch-rival.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Are you accusing prod of being a liberal?

Dec 9, 2014, 3:47 PM

Lulz, Prod is so far right he's coming back to the left on the other side. Do you just define liberal as anyone who doesn't agree with you?

I think students should be able to go to school

Dec 9, 2014, 3:51 PM

wherever they want to, can get into, and can pay for.

I understand that's not the same thing as playing football, but I don't see how it serves Clemson in any way to limit the student's choices. It's not like there's a bunch of top-secret stuff these football teams do. Opposing coaches already know more about Clemson than this WR does.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He can go anywhere he wants , he just can't play football***

tier players on conference teams and rivals in order to gain an edge, a look at the playbook, signs, etc.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Basically, this prevents tampering

Dec 9, 2014, 3:53 PM [ in reply to I think students should be able to go to school ]

Take away this rule, and you'll have coaches recruiting kids from your bench. USCe had at least one player tweeting about Kitt going to USCe.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The young man can still transfer to $CU....

he would just have to sit-out two years as opposed to the customary one year.
