This Team is an Enigma

Feb 15, 2020, 6:31 PM

They played a great game today against a quality team. I just can't figure them out. Either way, I'm very proud of them today. Give the fans what they want... A Win!!!

At the risk of making excuses, here I go. The extra early ACC game against VA Tech, the consecutive road games against TCU, Colorado, Minnesota and then the next ACC game being on the road against FSU didn't help. Add the injuries early in the year to Bahre, Trapp, Hunter, and Hemenway and you have a recipe for disaster. That's exactly what happened, a disastrous start to the season. Kudos to BB, staff and the players for hanging in there.

Hi, PIG!,,

If you look at the games where we have been ‘fully’ healthy....

And by ‘fully’, I mean still missing Behre and Hunter.....our record is probably pretty decent.
To think that we went through a stretch without Trapp, Hemenway, Hunter, etc...throw in the Simms flu game as well.
Injuries are a part of the game...we just had more than usual this year.
Not an excuse...mainly because I think there are a few games that we should’ve gotten anyway...but a semi-healthy team would have been at least on the bubble.
The only thing now is that we are creating an interesting situation for next year. Everyone comes back except for Mack and Scott. Good freshmen coming in. Chase Hunter mixing back in to the lineup. Nick Honor available.
We will be deep...but not sure there’s enough minutes to go around.
