Bad news for LSU

Oct 26, 2019, 9:34 PM

They only won by 3....I figure they'll drop to 5 or 6 this week

It's the opposite for SEC schools

Close win means you move up in the polls.

And a freshman QB that would be 4th string at Clemson. Malzahn better be kissing Steele's butt for keeping the game close yesterday.

You got that wrong! Actually a 3 point loss in the SEC equals 2 wins. So they should be a 3 way tie for 1st between Alabama, auburn and LSU!

It should mean they drop. Yeah, Auburn was ranked. But, be honest Oregon had them before that Herbert fumble when they were headed for the endzone. They lead Oregon all of 19 seconds and that's LSU's most outstanding win. They didn't get all the slants for TD's suddenly with K. Steel calling defense - hmmm. Telling! They were playing at home. Auburn has a Freshman QB and an offense that has "at times" struggled. They should drop - but won't because of the SEC bias.

With Okies loss, ESPN will be pushing even harder for 2 sec teams in the playoff.

Agreed but will the second team have two losses?!!

An SECE loser will. Does a SECW team that does make SEC championship get considered? Ridic

No, they are part of the SEC. No one seems to want to drop an SEC team. Why is that? What is it that makes the teams in this league considered to be so much better than any other conference? This includes ESecPN and the AP Poll. I don't understand it at all.
