at the end of the day, this is all about liability.

Aug 10, 2020, 1:42 PM

You can bet that is the main reason schools are willing to kill their cash cow of college football.

And who can blame them?

Do you really think there would not be multi-million dollar lawsuits left and right if players got sick and G-d forbid, one or more die from COVID?

If they’re scared of organization, it’s for good reason.

If there’s nothing to hide and the presidents believe they are treating players fairly, then let them organize and work with them to better the sport while the money is still there. If you kill the season, entire athletic departments are going to fold.

well my take on the plandemic

this virus will be around for a while just like hiv.
its a virus and you can not cure a virus but you can treat it eventually

I agree. It is a good thing they didn't shut the world down

"As I watched the game yesterday I couldn't help but feel crushed. We beat Furman by 4 TDs, but to me it looked like we got whipped."

"George Bush, we are reliably informed by the media, has the IQ of a moron, though how he matriculated from Yale and Harvard or flew an F-106 will remain an unexplained mystery. Doubtless his father bribed the airplane to fly itself."

They are being allowed to opt out and keep their scholarship

That would seem to cover the liability issue, but maybe I'm being too rational.

Bottom line ... The risk is just to great.

I wish we had been in a position to attack this problem in Early February. . But we were not.

We knew that there was a deadly virus in China. We also should have known that it could find its was to America.

The medical scientist should have been notified immediately for their advice. And perhaps they were.

You're correct***

that’s precisely what this is about. and to believe it’s anything else shows absolute stupidity. if people don’t think a parent would sue the #### out of a school, or conference, they are sadly mistaken.
