Bigger threat running? LMFAO. Tajh has a rocket launcher for an arm and runs about like I do. I wonder if this joker has even seen Tajh play....

They obviously just judged him.....

Based on the stereotype for most black qbs. I bet they have never seen him play or looked at his stats. This article is pointless.

Tajh has back to back 3000+ passing seasons

Posted: Dec 11, 2012 10:12 AM

and he's more of a running threat then a passing threat. My gosh these people are stupid. They actually pay these people money for this?

according to this article

there are 6 QBs in the ACC that should be drafted higher than Boyd: Manual, Thomas, Morris, Glennon, Rettig, and Renner. and Renfree is only one slot below Boyd.
what a steaming heap!

Logan Thomas in 2nd round? He plays defense when he is passing the ball hahahahaha

The projection and analysis was done by Chan Gailey***

Posted: Dec 11, 2012 10:27 AM

That will probably keep Tajh around for another year ....

If this is a consensus belief

Many of the "experts" look at Tajh as a system QB. That probably has something to do with his low draft round.

Re: Football Player Update: Tajh Boyd NFL draft projection

ouch.... very humbling. 7th in the ACC not including Syracuse. don't understand this ranking because Logan Thomas is terrible.

Some NFL teams think they can fix their head. Doesn't always work.

For Tajh's FB future, Morris and Dabo should turn Tajh loose on everybody we play next season. Don't take him out against anybody. For the good of Tajh Boyd, turm him loose and let him prove that he is better than any QB in the acc. Dabo and Morris owe Tajh the chance next season to play his way in at least the second round.

Wow I didn't know you could scout players without watching

ANY film on them!!

2019 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg

What moron came up wit that assessment?

Posted: Dec 11, 2012 11:45 AM

Boyd is much more of a passer than a runner and has a rifle of an arm. I think Boyd should stay another year, but whoever wrote that assessment has never watched Boyd or looked at his statistics. I guess this person thinks because Boyd is black that means he is a running
QB

Why complain?

Posted: Dec 11, 2012 11:48 AM

I don't understand why tiger fans get mad about him projecting 7th wouldn't think he'd leave after hearing that which is a good thing! Unless chad Kelley is really pushing the composition, I was wondering do you think Kelley could be like Johnny heisman? COULD?

People aren't complaining about the projection...

Posted: Dec 11, 2012 11:53 AM

It's the assessment and this site having Logan Thomas who is a terrible QB going in the
2nd round

badge-donor-05yr.jpg

This is Garbage

Posted: Dec 11, 2012 11:54 AM

Don't claim to be a professional, though I usually get
as close as some of these boobs.

from my standpoint...
if Boyd came out now, I can see him being an early 4th
rd. pick, late 3rd round if he can perform well for the
scouts....another year could help that, especially if his
passing percentage got around 70% of better. Then you
could look at late 2nd to early 3rd round. I think his
height is somewhat of a concern...whats he like 6'0"

they say 6-1?

Well everyone know heathers been on

Logan's dixk all year good or bad but still wondering about Kelley? Could he be the next starter?

Re: I fiigured 2nd or 3rd, but 7th, that's BS!!***

About right. In last 6 yrs, NO sub-6'2" Jr QBs were drafted

Posted: Dec 11, 2012 2:32 PM

There are a few rare sub-6'2" QBs that make it in the NFL, but (right or wrong) the NFL rarely DRAFTS them.

Over the last 6 years and 74 QBs drafted, only 4 QBs under 6’2" were drafted to play QB, and NONE of them were juniors. (Though 2 more senior QBs were drafted to play WR because they were too "short".) Those 4 QBs had outstanding careers:
* 6'1" Colt McCoy, then the all-time-winningest college QB (3rd round).
* 6’ Heisman winner, Troy Smith (5th round).
* 6'1" Tyrod Taylor (6th round).
* 5’11” Russell Wilson (3rd round).

I'm doubtful that Boyd would get drafted as a junior but I could see Boyd going as a late-round pick.

Clemson listed Kyle Parker as 6'1" but he shrank to 6'0" when MLB measured him. I suspect Boyd's height may be similarly falsified.

Pretty sure RG3 is listed as 6'1".***

No. RG3 is listed as 6'2". Links here...

Not bad..

Posted: Dec 11, 2012 3:13 PM

Sounds like these guys are Clemson fans, "rank him low and we'll have him for another year". While its bs, i can't complain..

So was Logan Thomas #1 overall?

Posted: Dec 11, 2012 4:23 PM

Or was it pretty boy Barkley?
