DW4 was pretty bad (one of the worst games I've seen him play) vs the Colts particularly late. He missed easy throws he typically can make in sleep and played and looked rattled for the first time maybe in his career. Lamar Jackson could barely complete a pass and Trubisky isn't looking to good early either.

Seems all of them are getting baptized by fire.

Watson accounted for 96.5 of the Texans yards with his best two WRs injured and and behind the NFLs worst OL. Not exactly a horrific performance to top 300 total yards in that scenario. Texans couldn’t run on a 4 man rush.

in the off-season. Have to protect DW and also run the ball some. Went to the week 17 game and the 3 plays from 1st and goal from the 5 were run DW, run DW, run DW, then kick field goal. HAVE to do something different on short yardage.

and the Houston D couldn't stop a pop Warner team. Made the colts O look like a Super Bowl winner.

Jackson is just being himself. He will be out of the league by his 26th birthday when his speed and elusiveness fade. Never been impressed with him as a passer at all.
