Way to show your football knowledge. Ray Drew was a 5 star recruit, recruited by every major program in the south. Including your fabled FSU that has such better athletes than us.

Ray Drew is a defensive linemen. Who is talking about the secondary? Maybe, read the post again. Was making the point that you guys always say " UGA doesn't have FSU talent". We recruit the same players, they get some, we get some. Not a huge gap in talent.

If its not the talent gap then what is it , scrodee ? Is it coaching , scheme , location of field ? What is it ?
FSU would beat UGA like a drum , no 2 ways about it. They would be favored in Athens this wkd by 2 tds.

Drew was ineffective against us in Clemson last yr. Swann is the guy that Sammy trucked on his way to that long score. Swann was equally ineffective last yr.
I hope they play to that same standard Saturday.

I went to the secondary because that was the main factor in Pruitt's defense stopping us last season. Even still, are you willing to argue that UGA's defense as a whole is up there with FSU?
It's either the talent level or coaching that causes the gap. But there is a gap.

But by the same token, your defense this season will not equal FSU's. Their defense last season was stacked at every position. Their secondary talent was off the charts.
As a realistic fan, you can't expect to equal that in game 1 of the new DC's tenure, especially with a makeshift secondary.

FSU just won the National Championship by beating your conference champs. A team that beat your Dags.
You finished third or whatever in your own division , with a loss to the SEC equivalent of Virginia. If I were you , I would raise h€ll with your AD , because all that "FSU type talent " on your roster is getting miserable results.

UPDATE! as of this morning. Pruitt doesn't like our defensive players, many will be transferring this spring.
He says, some of the guys are real "head scratchers on why they are at Georgia".
Also, on Ray Drew. He doesn't like football and that is the reason he hasn't panned out.
So, in conclusion, We don't have FSU talent or even Georgia Southern talent on defense.
So, you guys should score 40+
Funny thing is, this is all allegedly true.
