There is literally no way

That the committee would put a 1 loss Louisville in over a 1 loss Clemson who is the ACC Champ and played an extra game. Anyone who even mentions this might happen is just trying to stir the pot. If we win out we will be the 2 seed as long as Penn State wins their next two games which will keep OSU and Michigan out of their title game.

What metric would put L'Ville ahead of us now?

We have head to head, better wins, and tougher schedule.
L'ville will not be ahead of us now or later....unless we get a 2nd loss.

That's why they put the "eye test" in there

So they can ignore the metrics. The justification will be funny since they made a big deal over not putting Auburn over Texas A&M last week because of the head to head.

ACConference Champion trumps eye test with equal number of losses

Possibly but not likely. If they do it is just to stir the pot

Do you speak for the committee? And I'm not stirring the pot? And we haven't won the ACC Championship yet. The committee could actually put Louisville ahead of us this week or drop us just enough spots that we cant climb back in.

Haha I said if we win the ACC. No I don't speak for the committee just have noticed their two biggest things they base ranking on is head to head and if you won your conference. The whole Baylor/ TCU fiasco a few years ago was because they didn't have a conference championship game

SOS is going to kill Louisville especially if the Gators beat FSU.....and don't count out Tom Herman and Houston primetime Thursday night.

I believe the ACC champ will be in the playoff .......... if it is Clemson. No way they keep 12 - 1 team out.

It's when you lose that they look at . Plus Louisville has been blowing out teams that we barely beat.

Louisville will be ahead of us for now. I am thinking we end up at 5 or 6. If we win out and win the ACCCG we will not be left out.

not trying to stir the pot, but you are wrong.

maybe it will work out your way - hopefully so -
but there's a lot of good reasons why Louisville could sneak in over Clemson
even with the ACCCG.
