9 years is way too long

For a blue blood program like us to miss supers. Let's make it happen this year.

a consistent basis. The one who did it most often got fired.

Wilhelm did it an amazing 10 out of 36 years. (6 CWS)

Jack Leggett did it an even more amazing 11 out of 22 years. (6 CWS)

I have to agree with that. Nothing against Monte but I do feel it was a knee jerk reaction to the coots winning two..., one by beating us in the cws.

That coupled with the fact imo the Administration didn’t realize the impact the 2009 baseball rule changes were making on recruiting. True, he went through a couple lean years but so has every coach.

To add more to what I said above, I think it’s just going to take time for Monte to build this program. Unlike most other sports, baseball recruiting lags behind. You start recruiting a kid earlier.

Monte has a ton of respect around the state w hs coaches. I think with our expanded football footprint, we’ll be able to recruit a wider footprint... that, and DRad needs to figure out how to get that “Clemson fund “ or whatever it was called back into place.

Give it a couple years, Monte has some recruits on the way.
