Anybody seen the stock at your local Academy Sports or elsewhere... Where's the powder and the steel?
Is this a function of greatly increased sales or lack of production? Are we really that dependent on Chinese parts?
Cogent analysis appreciated.

They have been sold out on line for a while. They make a shipment of say, AR's, or Ak-47's, and they sell out as soon as they release them.
Depending on where you live in SC, I don't think I'd want to be a looter. In my current hood, I doubt a group of looters could make it into the first house without dying from lead poisoning.

'We need to control weapons of war,' or some similar trashing of gun ownership right. The left continue to rant about gun control so it's fairly reasonable to think that's part of the agenda being the only time a gun being fired doesn't bring that response from dems is when a gunshot results from black on black crime in a major city.

Specifically hand guns. Particularly after the riots really got rolling around June seems like people were just buying anything they could get their hands on, hence the shortage of more niche calibers that you usually don't see in a panic.

That particular pistol has a 30 round clip... At least I wouldn't be stuck with an empty pistol.

ammo I'm not sure I'd want to shoot it. I haven't really looked around lately, but last time I went to the range I couldn't replace what I shot so I guess I'll be sitting on the sidelines for awhile.
That does look like a fun little pistol though. I've always wanted a lever action .22
