SCAR didn't play Auburn, LSU, or Auburn this year. They played in a weak SEC East where Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee had down years. All of this and they still couldn't make it to the title game, where they would have been steam rolled by Auburn. Yeah they beat us, yeah it sucks, but besides us they really don't have a great resume. Look at our last 3 years, we have beat Virginia Tech (3x), FSU, Auburn (2x), LSU, Georgia, and Ohio State.

You must be joking.
We beat (3) of the final AP and Coaches Poll top ten ranked teams, (2) BCS winners, and (5) top twenty-five teams overall during the season, and our last (6) games in a row. We also finished 11-2 the last three years, something your program has never done.
Talk your "spin crap" all you want regarding 5th place rings and all that. You have had the most success in your program in thirty years, and we still finished ranked ahead of you every year, and beat you guys head to head the last five times.
Bottom line- …..4th, 8th, 9th “FINAL POLLS” the last three years. That's all that matters in the end. The “Final Rankings” determine the success of a team’s season from a national perspective. Ya’ll know that.
You guys have a good program and team that appears to be on the rise. No question about it.
But we have unequivocally, without a shadow of a doubt passed you by. At least for now.
Deal with it and get better.
Oh, and congrats on your bowl win.

Here is the real deal #### breath. You finished ranked fourth without jack #### to show for it. It just happens to be the way the cards fell that you are ranked this high. You clowns will NEVER win the SEC or anything that is recognized as a championship by anyone other than your man boob laden head ball sack. That is the truth so deal with it! By the way we are still not impressed. You can now go back to FGF because we really don't give 2 ##### about your team or your inbred fanbase.

Missouri was without their starting QB, and you STILL almost lost to them.
You beat us, but we basically Gamecocked it up like you did at TN (go Vols).
Then you beat an overmatched Wisco THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE BEAT ANYWAY. Come on, now.

SC beat 6 (SIX!) teams that won their respective bowl games: Clemson (Orange), UCF (Fiesta), Missouri (Cotton), North Carolina (Belk), Mississippi State (Liberty) and Vanderbilt (BBVA Compass). Two of those are BCS bowl winners. There's not much room for Clemson to talk, who beat one team ranked in the final polls (a very overrated Ohio State).
Yes, South Carolina lost to Georgia, who Clemson beat, and Tennessee, but this is the SEC. Clemson was DOMINATED by Florida state, and lost to South Carolina for the 5th year in a row, by double digits. Not much to argue about that.

You "pulled a SCU". Every year you lose to someone you shouldn't, then go talk about pulling a Clemson. If it isn't TN, it's Vandy or UK.
I like how you completely avoided playing Bama, LSU, or Auburn this year. You guys love that UNC loss, never mind that they are on probation and were in a mess early in the season.
UCF got in because there were no better options. I can't believe how much you guys hyped up that win. It was a game you were supposed to win against what amounts to a high level mid-major.

When was the best years of your program because no time in your teams history have you had a 4 year run or a 3 year run that we have had.
Again, in your so called storied program, you have never finished top 10 3 seasons in a row or had a 4 year period as we are having right now.

I am fascinated by what you call a storied program. You think Clemson is a storied program, really?? You want to check some numbers and tell me how you're a storied program?
You may be storied in your mind but I guarantee you it is only your mind.
Let's look at it like this:
How many times over a period of time, say 50 years would a program need to be ranked to be considered a storied program?
Half the time, 75%, how many would you think would be needed to be considered storied??
Again, in your wonderful vision of great history of Clemson football you have never had a better period of football than we have had the past 4 seasons, and you are a storied program.
So, let me know how many times you would need to be ranked to be a storied program.

Not under my skin, you guys had a very good season and our rivalry is growing in national recognition. We already have best baseball rivalry and there are not many football rivals that are as good as Clemson and South Carolina right now.

Clemson had the same run in the late 80's from 86-89 very similarly to what South Carolina is doing now. Clemson would have had 11 win season instead of 10 win seasons had at that time schools would have added a cupcake school to make up a 12-game schedule. The only difference that Clemson has on South Carolina during that time is conference championships. I know the SEC is a tougher conference, but you can not lie that you have had schedules fall your way to play for a conference championship and Scar has not taken care of its business so that's no ones fault but their own.

Wait a minute, you certainly can't point to a run with Citrus Bowls and Gator Bowls as great success. Haven't you been reading the board, it is not a successful season unless you go to the big 4. But I will give you thumbs up for the "if we had played another game that year we lost to Duke we would have won 11."

Not final top 10 each of those four years, but top 10 on average. Three back to back 10 win seasons (in 11 game regular seasons), FOUR bowl wins, and TWO ACC CHAMPIONSHIPS.

UCF didn't play a tough schedule, of course they are going to be ranked. You didn't do anything impressive by beating them.
Yet you lose to an UNRANKED TN and a UGA team that was already starting to get the injury bug. Also, you avoided playing Bama, LSU, Auburn, or any of the other teams that actually do work in the SEC.

My point is, go to your SCAR website and speak your mind and beat your chest over your wins, no need to troll our site, in the middle of the week, in the middle of the day. I heard they were going to start showing SEC games on the History Channel because all SEC fans can talk about is their past champions. Which SCAR was nowhere to be seen! Florida, LSU, Auburn, Alabama, and Tennessee earned the SEC it's image, not SCAR. At the end of the day, SCAR is closer to Vanderbilt and Ole Miss than the other championship programs.

Of course the benefited from not playing the toughest teams in their conference, however they played some good teams, and beat us soundly.

the reality is more like this:
1) if Clemson "backed into the OB" with an "overrated OSU" team, then USuCk backed into the #4 spot as well, simply by beating 2 teams that won bigger bowl games than you coots.
2) some of the teams the coots beat weren't ranked as high when y'all played, but still managed to do some big things with their seasons, helping pad your rankings. there were some really close games barely won by the coots, but the simple win-loss column can't display that.
3) funny that the coots talk about everyone Clemson played being overrated, but don't want to address all the powerhouses they played this season in their division. Mizzou gave a miracle game to the coots & miraculously have taken a lead after being freshman in the SEC. UCF is...UCF & their conference doesn't really compare either to either the ACC or SEC & would've lost to almost any other decent team in either conference, but deserve some credit for their magic.
4) just like we can't say unbiased, in truth the coots suck (wins & losses over last 3 seasons), just like coots have no room to say OSU was overrated (record speak for itself & title chase).
5) coots won the game with us & last 5, but that doesn't always tell the whole story, just the final. we know how turnovers affected the game, which can't be denied.
6) we both will lose tons of talent, so we'll both have to see who steps up to take the reigns, but who will do better is tough to call, except we're Clemson fans & have our pride & favorite in the fight.
7) conference strength & strength of schedule has alot of weight on the polls but doesn't determine who wins head to head battles. the underdog has just as much of a chance as any team on any day.
8) Steve Spurrier is a childish jerk who uses his manipulative wit to fool his own fanbase as much as we fool ourselves into thinking anything but a conference or national title, or beating USuCk is acceptable when that is the true goal...but you can't win them all & sometimes shine the light on the good things like bowl trophies & rankings, & consistent improvement (every team has to do that)
9) you coots are on a rival's board to brag & make yourselves feel better instead of expressing among yourselves how happy & proud you are of your own team & what you think you will accomplish moving forward. instead you come here to gloat on rankings, having beaten us, pseudo titles, & all in all the best status your team has ever achieved in program history...which is still in the end beating us & having a nice ranking.
10) even with the last 3-5 seasons we've both been close to many of the same goals, wins-losses, rankings , etc... except that we've actually met some of our goals & multiple times. the coots have fallen short on all major goals but beating Clemson having a nice W-L stat & ranking the last three seasons...no hardware however. both teams have room to improve! but we celebrate with other Tigers what we've done & don't seek you coots approval or appreciation.

Then maybe you can live vicariously through "what could have been" had SC played Bama, LSU or Auburn. Bottom line, and spin it any way you want, but you can beat Va.
