The stupidity of Chicken Logic

So, I had this thought this morning: either everyone is paying players or no one (or very few) is.

Think about it.

If Clemson is paying players, and a recruit chooses South Carolina over Clemson, what does that say about South Carolina?! You telling me a high level recruit(like Zaccah Pickens last year) will turn down playing for an elite program AND money to go play for a mediocre program for “free”?

Nope. Ain’t happening. Either Pickens made his choice on other factors OR Boom paid him more than Clemson was willing to pay.

So which one is it Coots?

They honestly and truly believe they have something to offer. To each there own but when it comes to football there is not an argument to be made other than someone having a tie to the school so deep it's a dream to go there kind of like Ed Oliver to Houston, but still Houston was at least good.

I agree on the money part. Some players want to be a big fish in a small pond. They don't want to compete for playing time with other big fish.
