The streak lives
Not that Clemson didn’t have its chances, but a combination of turnovers, a big disparity at the free throw line, ill-timed shots and a lack of first half defense all cost the Tigers a chance to break their winless streak in Chapel Hill, and North Carolina held on for a 75-65 victory at the Smith Center Tuesday night. Does anyone else see a pattern here. 10 free throws for Clemson and 25 for UNC. Foul trouble and free throws limit our effectiveness and ability to play our game every time we play at Chapel Hill. This is why we can't get a win up there. I'm not saying our fouls aren't legit but I feel the guys in blue always get away with alot more than we do. It's just frustrating that this continues to happen and nothing changes.

What amazes me is that Booker and Grant can attempt 20 field goals and only shoot 2 free throws.

Alot of our so called fans like to say we use the Reffs as an excuse for our losses at chapel hole. Anybody that is actually watching the game, and what is going on in the game, you see our guys getting hacked, slapped, pushed, and held. A 0 and 55 record isn't because we have put the lesser team on the floor in chapel hole for 55 straight years. I don't know the stats on the tar holes record at home but, I would bet it is one of the best in the country. Any team that goes into chapel hole has to beat the power blue team along with the ACC zebra team. To deny this is the case, you are in denial....

What 'streak' are we talking about........this is one of the three realities of life: Death, Taxes, and Clemson losing (basketball) to UNC in Chapel Hill.......

I confess, you are right......it was a pretty 'weak' first post but I'll improve with practice. The only place you were wrong is that Orbulus AIN'T a shamecock coot.....Clemson, 1974 and PROUD of it!

Drive to the basket, decent chance for 2 pt. FG, then kick

it back out for a missed 3 pt attempt. How many times did I see that last night? Must've left 6-8 points off the scoreboard doing that.

U could see early on how important it is...

for UNC to keep the streak going.I'm sure their coaches tell them; Don't be the class that finally loses to Clemson. Its like...its more important to them, than it is for us. They'll beat us,looking like the best team in the country, then go out and lose to the Citadel.
Sucks...anyways,gotta move on...How about the play of Byran Narciss!! #21

Win just once in my lifetime! Is that asking too much? I live in NC and I hear about this daily. It would have been really nice to beat them, end our streak, and put some serious pressure on ole' Roy. Oh well, there's always next time - Go Tigers!
