How do you feel about espn’s long-running GAMEDAY Show?

Sep 22, 2018, 9:53 AM

I think it’s become a pretty neat tradition and i wake up on Saturday's many times & have to watch it, for a while, depending on the venue & teams involved.

Strange though but while visting in Louisville for our game last year i opted to watch Gameday from room rather than get up at 5am to be in place by 7 & on TV at 9 and put up with getting back on track with sightseeing, etc.

YeP, watching it on TV occasionally is best. Do like the crew overall, seeing legendary Coach Corso picking winner with their head gear, neat guests (Bill Murray was unreal funny @ Clemson 2 yrs ago), the signs, crowd, intensity, etc.

Saying, Saturday college football would not be as informative, bias, wild & noisy, creative, fan-based & cool Without it, imho! ??

The signs

Are my favorite. I think it's a little long, maybe 1.5 hours would be plenty...

I agree - an hour would be enough.***

Kind of getting old to me.

Same formula each week.

I can do without the tragic event that changed some persons life each week.

I like it but record it and then speed through it right before kickoffs.

Start watching at 10:30 or 11 o’clock.

By the time you FF through the comercials and the BS you will be live right around the Corso pick.

It's super cool....

Sep 22, 2018, 10:00 AM

if you record it then FF through 95% and focus on the evaluations of teams instead of the SEC salesmanship and other BS which comes from the overbearing hype artist ESPiN calls comentators.

The valuable portions of that program could run in 15 or 20 minutes. The rest is toilet paper.

I love ESPN Gameday, but I think Corso needs to go in a way. It sucks because I like him, but 's painful watching his decline. I still love the show though.

I like the show. It's entertaining. My only complaint is all of the prognostication. There is too much of it for my taste. I don't care at all the guessing of the talking heads.

Sometimes the road to the truth is so elusive it's confusing and reality becomes illusion.

Personally I watch to see that big orange flag furling in the background. That means a LOT to me and I hope it does for you too! Regardless of where the show is, Clemson is there. Oregon is a looong way from Tigertown but the entire country sees it this morning. Go Tigers

I like it overall. Some weeks are better than others but it give me something to watch until kickoff.

I'm not going to complain about something football related to watch until kickoff.
