I really thought DA would be the answer to a failing Gronk. Dont get me wrong, he's a future hall of fame TE. His health has been failing and you have to wonder what his longevity is. And the apparent falling out that was occuring towards the end of the season. Too bad. The Patriots were the ones that failed DA, not the other way around. The man catches what is thrown to him. If you don't throw it, well..... He'll get picked up by someone who needs him and there you are.

I knew he would not replace Gronk as they each bring something different to the table. DA is twice the blocker that Gronk is. I knew they would not throw to DA much, but I thought as a "reward" for blocvking his tail off that he would get a few more balls. In the Super Bowl Brady passed up a wide open DA to a TD to throw an 8 yard out to Edelman. Somebody will be glad to get DA.
